This Agreement is entered into between SOCO Skateland LLC (“SOCO Skateland”) and the undersigned Booking Party/Host (“Host”).
1. Assumption of Risk
The Host understands that roller skating and related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, collisions, or contact with other skaters or objects. The Host voluntarily accepts these risks on behalf of themselves and all invited guests.
2. Release of Liability
The Host agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless SOCO Skateland LLC, its owners, employees, volunteers, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, accident, or loss that may occur during the reserved event.
3. Responsibility for Guests
The Host accepts full responsibility for the conduct, safety, and actions of all guests in attendance. The Host agrees to:
Inform all guests of the risks associated with skating and facility use.
Ensure all guests comply with rink rules, staff instructions, and safety guidelines.
Accept financial responsibility for any damages to SOCO Skateland property caused by their guests.
4. Indemnification
The Host agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SOCO Skateland LLC against any claims, costs, or damages (including attorney’s fees) arising from the actions, negligence, or misconduct of their guests.
5. Medical Treatment
In the event of an injury, accident, or illness occurring during the reserved event, the Host authorizes SOCO Skateland staff to seek reasonable medical treatment for guests if necessary. The Host understands they are financially responsible for any associated costs.
6. Acknowledgment
The Host acknowledges that they have read and fully understand this Agreement, and that by signing, they are waiving substantial legal rights. The Host signs voluntarily and intends this agreement to be legally binding.
